Paul Herdener graduated from the US Naval Academy and was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps. After initial training, Paul joined the 1st Marine Division as an infantry officer. Over Paul’s career, he served tours of duty in Afghanistan, the Middle East, around the Pacific, and in the Pentagon. Leading operations at the platoon, company, and battalion levels, Paul learned the skills required to orchestrate a multitude of resources and operations. 

Following his departure from active service, Paul led operations at Symmetry Systems, a venture-funded cybersecurity OEM, delivering best-in-breed data security posture management (DSPM) tools to both large and small organizations. During his time with Symmetry, the organization experienced a year-over-year increase in ARR and customer retention, and raised a third round of equity funding.

Paul is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Marine Expeditionary Warfare School, and holds an MBA from The University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.
